Go Inside the Empire with Star Wars: Imperial Handbook

Star Wars fans have been able to get an (oftentimes humorous) inside look at groups like the Jedi and Sith with The Jedi Path and Book of Sith, but now for the first time you can go behind-the-scenes of the Galactic Empire with the newly-announced Imperial Handbook.

Imperial Handbook continues the legacy of Star Wars books originating within the universe. This closely guarded handbook bears witness to the core philosophies and flawed practices for the Imperial military. With handwritten annotations from Rebel Alliance leaders, such as Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Wedge Antilles, and a one-of-a-kind Imperial Order of Glory medal, Imperial Handbook delivers a galaxy far, far away straight into your hands,” says J.W. Rinzler, executive editor at Lucasfilm.

The deluxe edition will feature a mechanical case that opens with the touch of a button accompanied by authentic Star Wars sounds, an Imperial Order of Glory medal, a UV spot design on the cover, foil stamping, and other goodies.

Pre-order the Imperial Handbook here to get your copy shipped to you on October 14, 2014 (coinciding with the start of Star Wars Rebels on Disney XD on October 13). The book is due out to mass retailers on October 20, 2014.
