Fans of Farscape, rejoice! According to if.com, a film is in the works. This comes about a decade after Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars which gave fans closure after the last episode of the final season left fans hanging. Sort of like how fans of Firefly were left hanging until they got Serenity. According to Tor:
“The film would follow John and Aeryn’s son, D’Argo (or Little D, as we will always refer to him). Because their baby was exhibiting a set of interesting powers that made him a magnet for galactic villains, we find that John and Aeryn hide their son on Earth to grow up. Now the kid is 19 and ready to go into space with his parents.”
The script for the movie spin-off reportedly was written by Justin Monjo and will be directed by Brian Henson (son of Jim Henson), executive producer of the show’s original four seasons and director of Peacekeeper Wars film. Besides that, Justin Monjo is also said to be developing a new series for HBO called Mongo, based on the detective series by George C. Chesbro. The lead role, reportedly, was written specifically for Peter Dinklage.
