Disney Star Wars Princesses by Michelle Lawhorn

With the acquisition of LucasFilm by Disney last October, the Internet has been flooded with fanart of Star Wars characters in the Disney-verse and vice verse. Here is but a sampling of some of our favorite princesses taking up their light-sabers and blasters.

Aurora and Leia: Look out, ladies! We’ve got a butt-kicker joining the ranks!

Snow White and the 7 Stormtroopers: Okay, I don’t have anything clever to say about this one. It’s just too cute!

Darth Snow White: It’s pretty difficult to take such a Mary Sue-esque character (that’s right, I said it) as Snow White and make her into a Sith, but I think this is a pretty good take.

Darth Kida: Because Kida (and by extension Atlantis: The Lost Empire) needs more love. Kida is probably the most likely Princess to turn to the Dark Side given her fierce personality and her deep attachment to her kingdom. I do wonder why her lightsaber isn’t blue, though.

Gotta love seeing Rapunzel in Jedi gear. It suits her so well!

Not too crazy about Cinderella’s boots, but these designs are great!

One of the first crossover pieces I came across after news of the acquisition hit the Net, and it remains one of my ultimate favorites.

Yep, Jasmine’s looking pretty good as a Jedi.

Rapunzel/Ariel/Snow White: http://ralphsevelius.blogspot.com/
Rapunzel – I looove how Ralph incorporated Rapunzel’s magic hair into her lightsaber!
Ariel – This is what happens if Kit Fisto and Asajj Ventress had a child in the Disney-verse. Is it wrong that I really kinda dig it?
Snow White – Another rendition of Snow as a Sith, this time with 20% more Force lightning!

Star Wars Remix: http://sonala.deviantart.com/art/Star-Wars-Remix-167787052
Mulan, Hercules, and Jim from Treasure Planet as Padme, Obi-Wan, and Anakin. What’s not to love?

Slave Belle: http://noflutter.deviantart.com/art/Slave-Leia-Belle-Design-Sketch-310092015
It wouldn’t be a complete showcase without the obligatory Salve Leia outfit. At least this one is beautifully original instead of just putting Belle in Leia’s standard bikini.
